Riverside is one of the original outdoors-focused nurseries in Scotland. With two acres of crofting land in Bathgate, West Lothian, bordering fields, woodlands and the River Almond, we offer the perfect set-up for your child to enjoy a magical early years experience.

We are a family-run, award-winning setting and our experienced, loving practitioners take a child-led approach to outdoor play and learning. Riversiders are lucky - because in addition to our huge woodlands, we have a cosy cottage, an outdoor classroom and other sheltered spots for when the weather is too Scottish!
